MANHATTAN — Molly Ringwald has moved from "The Breakfast Club" to the book club.
The former teen idol and "Brat Pack" actress celebrated the launch of her new novel "When It Happens to You" Saturday at the Croby Street Hotel in SoHo.
Ringwald, 44, penned the book about a marriage on the rocks after writing the memoir-style "Getting the Pretty Back" in 2010.
She was joined at the party by actress Carla Gugino, comedian Demetri Martin and a host of literary types, including her husband, writer/editor Panio Gianopoulos.
