BROOKLYN — Cops are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed two bodegas on Fourth Avenue earlier this month.
In each incident on August 23, the man entered the store flashing a weapon and demanding cash, police said.
In the first robbery, the suspect, wearing a red T-shirt and sunglasses, entered the store at 6824 Fourth Avenue about 2:45 a.m.. Surveillance video shows the store’s clerk trying to thwart the thief with a wooden chair, but the suspect managed to steal an undisclosed sum of money and fled, police said.
Later that day at 9:20 p.m., the brazen robber entered another bodega at 118 Kane Street. Wearing a blue T-shirt this time, the suspect again asked cash.
The suspect fled without money, however, police said.
The suspects are described as having black hair, weighing about 200 pounds and standing about 5-feet-8-inches tall.
