MIDWOOD — A BMW smashed into a pole after getting into an accident with a slow-moving utility vehicle on McDonald Avenue in Brooklyn Tuesday afternoon, officials said.

The BMW M6 was traveling south on McDonald Avenue just before 2:30 p.m. when it collided with a small utility vehicle that was about to turn into Washington Cemetery, officials said.

The BMW then careened into a support column for the elevated F train, leaving the luxury car's hood crumpled.

Two people were taken to Lutheran Medical Center with minor injuries, the FDNY said.

The cause of the accident was not immediately clear.
