QUEENS — Police are looking for a woman in connection with the newborn baby abandoned behind a Queens housing project last Sunday.

Police want to question Cathy Lu after finding the baby girl, who was just a few hours old, wrapped in a sheet on the grass outside Woodside Houses, a 20-building public housing complex at 50-07 Broadway, last Sunday evening, police said.

The baby was taken to Elmhurst Hospital, where she was "in excellent shape" on Monday, Police Commissioner Ray Kelly said.
