NYPD Seeks Man Suspected of Burglarizing Harlem Businesses

HARLEM — The NYPD is looking for a suspect wanted for a string of burglaries at several hair and nail salons in Harlem.

There were five burglaries reported throughout June and July, with computers, televisions and phones stolen in each case.

Among the establishments hit were Miss G. Hair Salon on 44 W. 125th St., which was burglarized June 28; the Best Braids Hair Salon on 44 W. 125th St., which was robbed on July 10; and Envy Nails, located at 2 W. 125th St., was hit twice on July 11 and 30.

Community Access at 2090 Seventh Avenue and West 125th Street was also burglarized July 31.

Police released several photos Thursday of the man who allegedly pulled off the robberies.

One shows the suspect wearing a blue T-shirt that reads “Brooklyn New York” and baseball cap. The suspect is also seen pushing a red handtruck.

The NYPD did not immediately provide additional information on the burglaries.
