
MANHATTAN — Police are on the hunt for a man accused of sexually assaulting a woman on a Lower East Side rooftop last week.
The incident occurred near Clinton Street shortly before 3 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, after the female victim went into a building with the attacker and the two headed for the roof, the NYPD said.
The male assailant, described as standing 5-foot-5 in his early 20s, fled the address after the assault, cops said. He was last seen wearing a white tank top and blue jeans, police said.
