
CHELSEA — A fire broke out at the Moonstruck Diner in Chelsea Monday evening, officials said.
The blaze started inside the ground-floor restaurant at 400 W. 23rd St., at Ninth Avenue, just after 7:45 p.m. Monday, an FDNY spokesman said.
Sixty firefighters from 12 units responded to the fire, which was under control before 9 p.m., the spokesman said.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
