LOWER EAST SIDE — Rashida Jones has just joined an exclusive club.
With the debut of "Celeste and Jesse Forever," a film she co-wrote with Will McCormack, the "Parks and Recreation" actress joins a group of laugh-generating women that includes Amy Poehler, Kristen Wiig and Tina Fey.
The film was screened last night at the Sunshine Landmark Theater with an after-party at Hotel Chantelle on the Lower East Side attended by many funny people.
In "Celeste and Jesse Forever," Jones plays wife to Andy Samberg's Jesse. The story unfolds as you watch them regain their footing as friends while they navigate divorce and re-entering the dating pool.
