Construction Worker Falls Off Scaffold on Lower East Side

LOWER EAST SIDE — A construction worker fell off a scaffold at a Henry Street building Wednesday morning, fire officials said.

The 45-year-old man, who was not identified, was working at 95 Henry St. at 10:50 a.m. when he fell, an FDNY spokesman said.

He was taken to New York Downtown Hospital with a knee injury, he said. His condition was not immediately known.
