Cops Searching for Suspect Who Bit, Punched Traffic Agent in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN — Police released a video Wednesday of a man who allegedly punched and bit a traffic enforcement agent during an argument in Brighton Beach.

The traffic agent, a 27-year-old man, sustained minor injuries. He was treated and released at a local hospital, the NYPD said.

The alleged attack occurred on July 13 about 8:00 p.m. near Brighton Beach Avenue and Coney Island Avenue. It shows the suspect in an unknown establishment, and seemingly running in and out in a hurry.

The suspect is described as being about 25 to 30 years old and standing between 5-feet-10-inches and 6-feet tall.  He was last seen wearing a sleeveless black shirt, black shorts and dark-colored sneakers, cops said.
