QUEENS — Cops are probing the death of a man who was found behind an Astoria building early Thursday — and believe he may have fallen from a window, police sources said.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was found unconscious and unresponsive behind 25-59 Steinway St. just before 4:30 a.m., police said.
Paramedics responded to the scene but declared the man dead on arrival, police said.
His identity has not been released pending family notification.
Police sources said detectives did not suspect foul play.
Residents said the man did not live in the building.
The Medical Examiner will perform an autopsy on the body, police said.
