BRONX — A Bronx man has been arrested for allegedly stabbing and beating a 35-year-old man in a Soundview Avenue bodega last month, police said Friday.

Omar Cepeda, 27, turned himself in to authorities at the 43rd Precinct stationhouse about midnight Friday, nearly three weeks after the vicious attack of Souvann Hunter inside the Hot Millions Deli at 843 Soundview Avenue, police said.

Cepeda, who has 19 prior arrests for crimes including robbery, was charged with murder and manslaughter, cops said. The NYPD had circulated his photo following the most recent incident in hopes of finding him.

Police said Cepeda attacked Hunter in the bodega on June 24 in retaliation for a prior incident.

Hunter, of New Rochelle, was taken to Jacobi Medical Center, where he died the next day, officials said.
