CANARSIE — A school bus traveling on Rockaway Boulevard was rear-ended Tuesday morning, leaving five people hurt, sources said.
The bus was hit by an unidentified vehicle at Avenue L about 7:45 a.m., officials said.
Five people were treated at the scene, an FDNY spokesman said. It wasn't immediately clear if the passengers were students.
Paramedics were still treating the passengers about an hour after the initial 911 call.
It was not immediately clear where the bus was going.
