MIDTOWN — A worker was shocked and injured in Midtown building Monday morning, officials said.

The victim, who was not identified, suffered an electric shock while working at 1140 Avenue of the Americas, near West 44th Street, an FDNY spokesman said.

He was transported to New York University Hospital, he said. The worker's condition was not immediately known.
