SOHO — Two pedestrians were struck by a minivan in SoHo Friday morning, the FDNY and witnesses said.

The minivan was headed west on Broome Street about 11:45 a.m. when it struck a man and a woman walking between West Broadway and Wooster Street, police and witnesses said.

"The minivan was stopped with its two side wheels on the sidewalk," said Maricarmen Jimenez, 15, who works at the nearby Marie Belle Sweets shop. "I just saw a woman lying on the ground and the paramedics were working on her leg. They were putting bandages around her knee."

"The guy was bleeding a lot from his nose," said Toma Islam, 18, who works at the Sunrise Mart.

There were six or seven passengers in the minivan, witnesses said.

The victims were transported to Beth Israel Hospital and New York Downtown Hospital. Their conditions were unknown, police and fire officials said.
