NEW YORK — A woman was shot in the leg in Morningside Heights Friday morning, the FDNY said.
The woman was shot outside 1315 Amsterdam Ave. near West 125th Street shortly before 10 a.m., a fire department spokesman said.
She was transported to St. Luke's Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Her identity was not released.
