Woman Struck by Town Car on Park Avenue

MANHATTAN — A 20-year-old woman was rushed to the hospital Tuesday night after being struck by a Lincoln Town Car Tuesday night while crossing East 89 th Street and Park Avenue, FDNY officials said.

The woman — who witnesses believe was a jogger — was hit by the car just before 8:40 p.m., fire officials said.

She was unconscious when she was taken to New York-Presbyterian hospital.

Fire officials said the driver had remained on the scene. Police did not immediately have details on the incident.
