
BROOKLYN — A fire broke out at an apartment building in Kensington Friday afternoon, leaving a firefighter with minor injuries, authorities said.
The blaze began on the third floor of the four-story building at 533 E. Second St., at Courtelyou Road, about 12:54 p.m., FDNY officials said.
One firefighter suffered minor injuries in the blaze, which was brought under control at 1:48 p.m., officials said.
Twenty-five units and more than 100 firefighters responded to the blaze, the FDNY said.
