UPPER EAST SIDE — Vladimira "Ladi" Brace was celebrating a "girls' night" with friends at the Hudson Square club WIP early Thursday when the champagne bottles started to fly, she said.
One minute she was looking for a friend, and the next she was being trampled as panicked clubgoers scrambled for the door, she told DNAinfo.com New York in an exclusive interview Tuesday.
"It all happened so fast, I didn't even know what was going on," she said.
Brace, a 22-year-old Staten Island resident, said she will sue the celebrity hot spot after the wild nightlife battle reportedly sparked by a conflict between the singers Chris Brown and Drake left her with a sore back, badly bruised left hip and a numb toe on her left foot.
Bottles and possible gunfire flew at the 34 Vandam St. hot spot after Drake allegedly sent a note to Brown that read "I'm still f---ing Rihanna," sources said.
Brace — the seventh clubgoer to claim they were injured in the melee — said WIP should be held responsible for her injuries.
"I don't blame Chris Brown or Drake at all, it just shouldn't have happened," she said. "The club should have had better security."
Brace's lawyer, Allan F. Friedman, said he has filed suit against the club.
"We have a claim against the club for overcrowded conditions, lack of security and failure to follow fire code and liquor laws," he said.
If videotape or other evidence reveals individuals who threw bottles, Brace might sue them too, Friedman said.
"Anyone who is identified as inciting the riotous mob or throwing a projectile will be subject to a civil lawsuit."
According to media reports and victims' lawyers, the mayhem injured four other clubgoers, plus Brown, his bodyguard known as Big Pat and the NBA star Tony Parker.
Police closed WIP Saturday for unspecified violations, and manager Jonathan Cantor was arrested Friday for violations related to the fire code and the control of alcoholic beverages.
No one else has been arrested in connection to the incident, police said.
The Albania-born beauty, who lives with her family, said she did not initially consider suing, but considered doing so after her injuries persisted.
"I really thought [my injuries] were going to be something that weren't serious," she said Tuesday, wearing a tailored dark blue suit at her high-end retail job on the Upper East Side.
"I thought, 'Oh, my toe's numb, OK, I'll get over it.' But it's been a week and it's really uncomfortable. It hurts to walk."
Brace said she talked with Brown and his entourage earlier in the night after members of the group offered her and her friends drinks, but that she didn't see what started the trouble.
"I just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time," she said.
