SHEEPSHEAD BAY — A man was shot in the head and critically injured in an Avenue W apartment Wednesday afternoon, officials said.
The victim, who is in his 30s, was found about 1:50 p.m. in an apartment at 2938 Avenue W, FDNY and NYPD officials said.
He was rushed to Lutheran Medical Center in critical condition, police said.
It was unclear if a gun was recovered or if the man lived in the apartment where authorities found him.
