
QUEENS — Firefighters responding to a call for a fire in a Rosedale home instead found a man's body an an attached unit, officials said.
Fire crews responded to 142-21 230th Place after receiving a 911 call for a stove fire just after 8:30 a.m., a FDNY official said. They wasn't a fire at the location, however.
But firefighters did find the body of a man in his 50s in an adjacent home, fire officials said.
Details about the circumstances that led to the person's death were also not immediately clear, police said.
