Thief Stole Laptop and $12K in Cash from Car in Astoria

QUEENS — A thief broke into a car and stole a laptop and $12,000 in cash in broad daylight, police said.

According to cops, the break-in occurred on May 11 around 3:50 p.m. on 31st Street in Astoria.

The owner was not in the car at that time.

The NYPD described the suspect as 6 feet tall, thin build and bald. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and light blue jeans.
