QUEENS — Seven people were taken to the hospital after a van collided with school bus carrying pre-kindergarten students in Ridgewood Tuesday morning, authorities said.

Emergency crews responded to the crash at the corner of Harman Street and Onderdonk Avenue about 8:23 a.m., the FDNY said.

Eleven pre-K students from the QSAC (Quality Services for the Autism Community) Day School were on board at the time, a Department of Education spokeswoman said.

Seven people were taken to Wyckoff Hospital for observation with unknown injuries more than an hour after the incident, officials said.

It was unclear how many of the individuals taken to the hospital were students.

An official from the school said that no one was injured in the crash and that some of the students would be returning to school Tuesday.

"It's unfortunate that it happened in the first place," said Lisa Veglia, deputy executive director of QSAC, "but it appears that everyone’s fine."
