STATEN ISLAND — Police are looking for individuals involved in an assault on a 26-year-old man in New Dorp.

The incident occurred on Saturday April 21, at 1:15 a.m., police said.

Police said the victim, a man, 26, was involved in a verbal dispute with at least two men, near the intersection of New Dorp Lane and North Railroad Avenue.

The men then attacked the victim, who was injured and transported to Staten Island University Hospital.

The victim was treated for his injuries and released.

Police released a video of men they believe were involved in the assault, taken from a deli just moments before the fight. One man appears to be purchasing two six-packs of beer, and is wearing a dark blue jacket. Another man is wearing a lighter blue hooded sweatshirt in the video.

Police ask anyone with information regarding the attack to contact Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477).
