BRIGHTON BEACH — When staff at the Home Family Care Health Care Agency arrived at work Monday, they were surprised by masked bandits — of the furry variety.

Baby raccoons were spotted inside the agency's 223 Brighton Beach Ave. office when workers arrived just after 9 A.M.

"It was noisy, like a crying baby and I observed two raccoons around the office," said Michael Gurevich, the company's vice president.

He called 311, and was then transfered to 911. Soon, the NYPD was on hand to cage the varmints.

"Finally they caught one of the raccoons and put it in a cage," Gurevich said.

The raccoon, clearly a baby, seemed agitated in the cage as it was placed in a police cruiser and taken away. It wasn't immediately clear where the raccoon was taken.
