BRONX — Police are searching for a sunglass-wearing robber who was caught on video attacking a 54-year-old woman in the lobby of her Bronx apartment building and stealing her purse, the NYPD reported.
The video appears to show the man shoving the woman against a wall, grabbing her head and neck from behind, and then pulling a red-colored purse from her shoulder inside the Monroe Avenue building. The woman was not injured in the attack, which occurred at about 10:40 a.m. on Sat., May 19, police said.
