STATEN ISLAND —The NYPD released a photo on Thursday of a man they believe was involved in the shooting death of a 19-year-old in Mariners Harbor on May 5.

Police identified Adam Kamagate, 25, as a man suspected for his involvement in shooting four individuals in Mariners Harbor earlier this month, police said.

Justin Stokes, 19, was struck in the arm and the stomach during the incident at 173 Brabant St. Stokes died of his injuries.

Three of the victims, ages 24, 26, and 30, survived, having suffered bullet wounds to the legs, stomach, and buttocks, respectively. The 26-year-old was in critical condition from being struck in the stomach, but survived, police said.

The NYPD describes the suspect as 6 feet tall, and weighing 200 pounds.

Another suspect, Kyle Charles, 25, of Staten Island, was arraigned on May 9, and faces charges of second-degree murder, three counts of attempted murder, first-degree reckless endangerment and second-degree criminal possession of weapon, according to the criminal complaint filed against him.

At an earlier date, police said that the two men, Charles and Kamagate, were apparently seeking revenge for an earlier incident, a source said.

Charles, who sources said has 25 prior arrests, previously served up to three years in prison for attempted robbery, records show. He was released in 2008.

Police ask anyone with information relating to the homicide to call Crime Stoppers at 800-577-TIPS (8477). All calls are kept confidential.
