QUEENS — An off-duty cop who was busted moving to a better seat at Citi Field Wednesday night was arrested for refusing to leave the stadium, authorities said.

Eduardo Cornejo, 30, had tried to get a better view of the Mets game against the Cinnati Reds when about 9:20 p.m. a guest service agent caught him in someone else's seat, according to a criminal complaint filed against him in Queens Criminal Court.

A security guard then asked him to leave the stadium, but Cornejo refused, authorities said.

That's when cops stepped in and arrested him, police said.

Cornejo was arraigned Thursday on a third-degree criminal trespass charge — a B misdemeanor, punishable by up to six months in jail — before Judge Lenora Gerald in Queens Criminal Court.

He was released without bail.

Cornejo's attorney, Daniel Servino, did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
