BEDFORD-STUYVESANT — A 25-year-old man was shot and killed in the Marcy Houses early Wednesday, police said.
Marcus Thomas was found with gunshot wounds to his head and shoulder at 562 Park Avenue in Tompkins Park North, a six-story public housing complex near Nostrand Avenue, police said.
Thomas, a resident of the Marcy Houses, was taken to Woodhull Medical Center, where he died, authorities said.
"He was a nice, loving person, a good father to his all kids," said Lakeyba Wright, who identified herself as a family friend.
"And if you needed [something] he would give you his last..." she added, her voice trailing off.
The cause of the shooting was under investigation.
