MANHATTAN — Police are searching for a suspect who snatched a man's wallet and cell phone in an East Harlem housing complex, the NYPD said.

At about 7:30 a.m. on Thurs., April 26, the 22-year-old victim and suspect rode up in an elevator together in the Corsi Houses, a senior housing complex at 306 East 117th St., police said.

When the pair got off, the suspect grabbed the victim, took his wallet, cell phone and cash, and then fled on foot, cops said.

The suspect is described as in his 30s, standing 5-foot-6 and weighing and 165 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes, police said. At the time of the robbery, he was wearing a dark jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt beneath, blue jeans and gray sneakers.
