STATEN ISLAND — A man was pulled from the water at the ferry terminal on Staten Island Friday morning, authorities said.

The unidentified man was rescued by NYPD Harbor crews after authorities received a call at 9:42 a.m., police and fire officials said.

Personnel from the NYPD and FDNY both responded to the scene.

The man, who was described at emotionally disturbed, was taken to St Vincent's Hospital in unknown condition, officials said.

It was unclear how the man ended up in the water, officials added.
