EAST HARLEM — Police are looking for a man who allegedly punched a female bus driver in the face in East Harlem Friday morning.

The 58-year-old victim was driving an M15 bus north on First Avenue about 7:50 a.m. Friday when the suspect allegedly punched her, police said. He then hopped off the bus at East 102nd Street and fled, police said.

The bus driver was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police described the suspect as a man in his 40s, 5-feet-9-inches tall, with a medium build and salt-and-pepper hair.
