MANHATTAN — Police are hunting an icepick-wielding mugger who robbed a man near Central Park this week.
The suspect approached a 29-year-old victim as he was leaving the park near 108th Street and East Drive on Wednesday, punched him in the face and flashed an ice pick before stealing the man’s cell phone, police said.
The male suspect, described as 35-years-old, 5-foot-9 and 155 pounds, then fled the scene, cops added.
