BROOKLYN — A man and woman were shot after an argument on a Bushwick street early Sunday morning, authorities said.

Gunfire erupted on Humboldt and Moore streets just before 5 a.m., according to police and fire officials.

Witness at the nearby John Hylan F. Hylan Houses said a group of people was arguing before shots rang out.

"It looked like they were arguing," said Victor Perez, 29. "There were five or six of them."

Another witness reporting hearing "stop, stop stop" before shots rang out.

A 25-year-old woman and a 24-year-old woman were rushed to Bellevue Hospital where they were listed in stable condition, according to the FDNY.

Police said it was not immediately clear what sparked the bloodshed.
