THE BRONX — Nearly two dozen people were hurt when a school bus and a car collided in the Belmont section Thursday afternoon, authorities said.
The accident unfolded on Southern Boulevard and East 185th Street just before 4 p.m., the FDNY said.
Five people were rushed to Jacobi and St. Barnabas hospitals with serious injuries.
Another 17 were treated for minor injuries, according to the fire department.
