MANHATTAN — Police are asking the public's help in finding a man who rummaged through a purse in a Canarsie diner last month, stealing a wallet and a cell phone.
The man, wearing a red hooded sweatshirt and glasses, dipped into the purse at the Richards Diner at East 95th Street and Avenue L around 2:40 p.m. on Sun., March 25, 2012, cops said.
Police described the man as in his 20s, having a dark complexion and weighing approximately 170 poumds.
