BROOKLYN — Police hauled guns, ammunition and drugs from a Bensonhurst house in a raid on Thursday.
The NYPD burst into 1535 71st St. with a search warrant Thursday and recovered eight guns — including a .9-millimeter Beretta, a .40-caliber Smith & Wesson and a Phoenix Arms .22 long rifle, which were all loaded — along with about 600 rounds of ammunition, police said.
Police also found cocaine, marijuana, prescription pills, a police scanner and other weapons including a .22-caliber handgun, a Marlin 30.30 rifle, a Savage Arms .22-caliber rifle, a 12 gauge shotgun and a .410 caliber shotgun, the NYPD said.
Police arrested Michael DePietro, 46, who lives in the house, and charged him with criminal possession of a weapon, criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal possession of marijuana.
