MANHATTAN — Police are hunting for a "well-dressed" man wanted for groping several women on the Upper East Side and Downtown.

The suspect, believed to be in his 30s, has struck four times, touching young women on the streets of tony neighborhoods in broad daylight.

The man struck first on Feb. 25 on East 62nd Street and Park Avenue, approaching a 33-year-old woman from behind at 12:30 p.m. and grabbing her inner thigh before running away, police said.

The next day he grabbed a 31-year-old woman's buttocks and genitals at 11:15 a.m. on Varick and King streets in the Hudson Square area before fleeing, police said.

On Feb. 27, he was back on the Upper East Side, approaching a 19-year-old girl from behind on East 67th Street and Second Avenue just before 2 p.m. and grabbing her buttocks, police said.

The suspect struck most recently on March 30, just before 7:30 p.m., not far from City Hall. According to police, he approached a 22-year-old woman on Centre and Chambers streets, putting his hand between her legs before fleeing, police said.

According to cops, the suspect stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds.

Women on the Upper East Side had been on edge last summer because of a separate spree of sexual assaults.
