BROOKLYN — A man was struck by a Brooklyn-bound R train in Park Slope on Friday afternoon, officials said.

The incident occurred just after 2 p.m. at the Fourth Avenue and Ninth Street station, FDNY officials said.

The victim was not seriously hurt, said Kevin Ortiz, an MTA spokesman.

Because of the police investigation at the station, power was shut off. There was no R train service in either direction from Court Street to 95th Street in Brooklyn, according to MTA.info.

The D train was running on the F line from the West Fourth Street-Washington Square Station to Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue. The N train was running on the Q line from Dekalb Avenue to Coney Island, according to the MTA.
