UPPER EAST SIDE — In like a lion, out like a lamb is a fair description for this March at the Central Park Zoo.
Kiwi the Babydoll lamb was born earlier this month in the Tisch Children’s Zoo to proud parents Turnip and Sid, zoo officials said.
The birth of the lamb presages the longer summer hours for zoos across the city.
The Central Park Zoo, Prospect Park Zoo, Queens Zoo, and Bronx Zoo resume their summer hours from March 31, said the Wildlife Conservation Society, which oversees the facilities.
