BROOKLYN — A baby bound was found abandoned in the lobby of a Sunset Park building Saturday afternoon, police said.

The infant, believed to be 2-3 months old, was discovered in a car seat at 413 62nd St., near Fourth Avenue, at 2 p.m.

The boy, who police are trying to identify, was taken to Lutheran Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The incident comes just days after a newborn with its umbilical cord still attached was resuscitated by medics after being abandoned on Bedford Avenue in Crown Heights.

The state's "Safe Haven" law allows people who are unable to care for newborns up to 30 days old to drop them off to police or fire stations no questions asked.

Anyone with information in regards to the identity of the baby is asked to call the NYPD's Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.

The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers Website at WWW.NYPDCRIMESTOPPERS.COM or texting their tips to 274637(CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
