QUEENS — Scores of early weekend shoppers were evacuated from Rego Center Friday after a worker received a bomb threat, police said.

Emergency Service Unit cops responded to the shopping mall, located at 61-35 Junction Blvd., at 1:45 p.m. after a Century 21 worker there received a call about a bomb, police said.

"She said someone called to say there was a bomb in the mall," said a source.

Cops were forced to clear the place out. It was unclear how many people were evacuated, police said.

The search came up empty and cops deemed the mall safe about an hour later, police said.

No one has been arrested.
