QUEENS — A woman was shot to death early Sunday morning on the porch of her South Ozone Park home, according to authorities.
Sandra Bajnath, 39, was found shot in the chest at her home on 135th Street, near Rockaway Boulevard at 5:30 a.m., police said.
Sources said that Bajnath and another man were drinking on the porch of the home when they were approached by two men who opened fire.
The male victim suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was rushed to Jamaica Hospital in critical condition.
Bajnath was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not immediately clear what sparked the violence and no arrests had been made.
