MANHATTAN — A person was struck by an F train at the East Broadway subway station Tuesday afternoon, fire and transit officials said.

The person was hit by the train about 2 p.m. and rushed to Bellevue Hospital Center in critical condition, fire officials said.

Manhattan-bound F trains were running on the A line between the Jay Street station in Brooklyn and the West Fourth Street station in Manhattan, MTA officials said.

Earlier in the day, a man was struck and killed by a Manhattan-bound E train at the 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue station in Queens.
