QUEENS — Five men and a woman have been indicted for allegedly kidnapping, gang raping and prostituting a 15-year-old runaway girl, authorities said.

The Queens District Attorney's office announced Thursday the indictment of Gary Council, 22, the alleged ringleader, and five cohorts. The suspects allegedly picked up the girl, who had run away from her Long Island home, in Brooklyn before torturing her for five days.

The alleged kidnappers also forced the girl to take two Ecstasy pills, according to the indictment.

"This is a horrific case in which the victim, a young girl, is alleged to have survived a nightmarish ordeal that included being drugged, gang raped and forced to work as a prostitute," said Queens D.A. Richard Brown in a statement. "She is fortunate to have escaped.

"If convicted, the defendants deserve to be sentenced to lengthy terms in prison both as punishment and to send a clear message that crimes such as this will not be tolerated in Queens County," he added.

The victim was hanging out on February 6 with a friend on Jerome St. in Brooklyn when the suspects picked her up, authorities said. They took her to a house on 101st Avenue in Ozone Park and forced her to stay, they said.

"You're not going anywhere," Council allegedly told her.

He took her to a backroom, where he told fellow suspect Andrea Furlonge that the victim was "the new girl" who "was going to make a lot of money."

On one occasion, four of the suspects raped the victim, authorities said.

The girl finally escaped on Feb. 12 when she was told to go to the store and get something for Council, authorities said.

Meanwhile, the suspects are also accused of squatting in the home where the alleged torture occurred.

Council even showed police and the owner of the house phony lease agreements in which the lease holder was identified as "Raymond Kelly," the same name as the city police commissioner. That happeneds the day before the girl was allegedly kidnapped, prosecutors said.

The other suspects were identified as: Junior Goldring, 23; Omari Millington, 21; Renardo Williams, 22; and Roy McMillan, 24, all of Brooklyn.

Goldring, Millington and Williams were charged with rape, criminal sex act and endangering the welfare of a child. Williams was also hit with a criminal mischief charge. They face up to 25 years in prison if convicted, authorities said.

McMillan was charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminally using drug paraphernalia and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said. He faces up to 15 years in prison, they said.

Furlonge, 21, of Ozone Park, was charged with compelling prostitution, sex trafficking, burglary, promoting prostitution and endangering the welfare of a child. She faces up to 25 years in prison, authorities said.

And Council was charged with kidnapping, rape, criminal sex act, compelling prostitution, sex trafficking, burglary, promoting prostitution, grand larceny and endangering the welfare of a child, authorities said. He faces 25 year to life in prison if convicted, they said.

Michael Horn, a defense attorney, questioned why the alleged victim waited so long to report the attack.

"You have a victim who's been raped, drugged and she doesn't report it for days? he told the New York Daily News.
