HELL'S KITCHEN — A fire broke out in a residential building on West 49th Street in Hell’s Kitchen, fire officials said.
The fire started around 11 a.m. on the first floor of a seven-story apartment building at 531 W. 49th Street near Eleventh Avenue.
No injuries were reported, and the fire was brought under control around 11:30 a.m., a fire spokesman said.
