BRONX — A woman was killed when she was struck by a hit-and-run driver in Soundview Saturday night just blocks from her home, police said.
The victim, Dawn Affoumani, 42, was crossing through the intersection of White Plains Road and Story Avenue at 9:47 p.m. when she was hit by a tan Mazda, according to cops.
Affoumani was pronounced dead at the scene and the driver took off.
No arrests have been made, police said.
