Fire Breaks Out at Home on Beach 46th Street in Sea Gate

BROOKLYN — A fire broke out at a home on Beach 46th Street in Sea Gate Thursday afternoon, authorities said.

The blaze began about 12:33 p.m. in a rear kitchen on the second floor of 4621 Beach 46th St., fire officials said.

Nobody was home at the time of the blaze and there were no injuries, officials added. It was not immediately clear what sparked the fire.
