QUEENS — Queens' first Apple Store could reportedly be headed to Forest Hills.

A prominent developer told the Daily News that he is in early talks with the computer and smartphone giant to open a store on Austin St. — becoming only the second Apple store in the outer boroughs.

Developer Yeheskel Elias said the new Apple Store could open in as soon as a year. An Apple spokeswoman told the Daily News the company has "made no announcements" on the potential Queens store.

"Queens has to have an Apple store," Elias told the paper.

Apple currently has five stores in Manhattan, one in Staten Island and branches at Best Buy locations throughout the city.
