MANHATTAN — An Upper West Side man was busted for shooting a teen to death in a Brooklyn housing project last week, sources said.
Dontay Drayton, 23, faces murder and weapons possession charges for allegedly shooting the victim, Jeramie Sanchez, 18, twice in the back of the head on Jan. 2.
The bloodshed unfolded just before midnight at the Marcus Garvey Houses at 1400 East New York Ave.
After a 911 call was made, medics found the victim on the first floor and pronounced him dead at the scene.
The motive for the shooting was not immediately clear, but the victim was found with a small quantity of cocaine between his buttocks, sources said.
